I often hear about Russian girls - scammers. I'm very sorry for all the people that have been deceived that way.
But still it's a weird situation. Ok, let's try to understand it.
A man feels lonely. He looks through profiles at a dating agency and sees her (why exactly her? Because the pic is very nice and, no doubt, she wants a family, she just adores cooking, cleaning, washing, bearing children and wants to devote him all her life). The man writes to her having already a kind of plan (or a dream) in his mind. He wants the same from her (no doubt heh?). After all, he has heard thousand times that Russian girls are beautiful and clever, good housewives and true friends without any demands. He understands that life in Russia is rather tough, economic crisis, male half of the population is already not a half but a quarter in the best case, among this less than a half there is plenty of drunkards and drug-addicts, so for a Russian woman it's really hard to find a man to build a happy family.
Both want the same. But what is wrong? Where is the catch?
It's a characteristic feature of human beings to mix up desirable things and the real state of things. How can one be so naive as to send money to a person he doesn't know at all? How can he after that say that all Russian girls are scammers and it's better not to deal with them? It's all so evident - do not send money and that's it. Try to visit her. Get to know her better. Her way of life, habits and her mind, her family and friends. But do not judge a person by only letters - you know, for a professional scammer it's so easy to write really nice and touching letters, it's his job! But for a nice girl it maybe not so, she might not get used to open herself in writing. Or her English is not that good. Whatever. If one pays to a fat bold man of 75 (but with good written English) hoping that he can turn into a beautiful girl of 20, it's his problem :)
Recently i got a lot questions about Russian girls' letters which are coming to mailboxes shown in Yahoo personals and anywhere else.
Thats crazy! English is awful there, clearly seen it's a copy-paste letters sent to thousands men at once. And men believe! Where is the limit of your being so trustful? It's just business made on you.
One american asked me to look at a letter and say if it's a scam or not. All the letter is just rambling about herself being so perfect in cooking, cleaning, bearing kids etc. He replied and got again some poorly expressed thoughts about herself: how much she dreams to be with him and it was love at first email and she misses him and wants to be together forever. She didnt even write anything personal, no questions about his life (he told her about himself).
All the letter: ah i am so simple and great, ah i enjoy simple life, i can work (i have 50 higher educations) or i can stay home, i wish kids but if my man doesnt want, i will never have. I love to cook dance clean the house walk blablablah. I have a great job but could you help me to come to you in the amount of 1500 usd. Ah i will be forever yours and serve you all my life. Ah look at "my" pics, am i not beautiful? I am i am, even though it's not my pic :P
Crazy to believe that, isnt it?
If you wish to get to know a Russian girl why dont you talk in messengers at least. Ah yes, all of them are in an internet cafe just for a second to send a letter to you. Because everything is so expensive. No option to get a home phone. No way to get a computer and internet. How true :)
Another writes something like: what a country is that?! how come when i call her on her home phone she has to pay for incoming call from another country as if she called herself? Thats why she doesn't give me her phone number. No wonder that Russia is going down! No order in this country!
Hey, man, first check your "girl". Thats not true. Practically everybody has home phone and we dont pay for incoming calls. Before scolding Russia, look at yourself and your "friends".
One guy shared his experience: he placed his profile on a dating/find-a-friend site and got many letters from the so called "russian girls". All of them say they checked his profile and got interested. But that site shows him who has looked through his profile. None of them did! See, scammers are active, every member of dating sites, Yahoo personals and other sites alike, gets many messages from scammers. Be careful, people.
One more example: i want to find the family of my fiancee. And yes, his "fiancee" sent to him a couple letters in bad English and of course from Internet cafe. Ah poor him, she is on black list of scammers everywhere on the net. But he doesnt want to believe. He asks her, and she says in next letter: ah thats all bad people, enemies around. My real name is different. Just send that help! And i will come and devote all my life to you. And he sends and really waits for her. And is again sure something is wrong, something doesn't let her, but he doesnt even think that she cheated: "ah no, she is so nice (of course i could hardly understand what she writes) and she is so in love with me" hahaha
maybe better not to try to find love in email... Even though it's possible.
