The demographic situation in Russia is not quite favorable for women of marrying age. Wars, criminal situation, army service, alcohol and drugs leave fewer and fewer potential husbands. They know how to keep they house, entertain their husbands, raise children, and all that comes naturally because generations of Russian women have been doing that before.
Russian women looking for American men are not so career-obsessed as their western sisters. They are very well-educated though. Educational system in Russia is very good and almost free of charge. If you study well during your school years you are almost sure to enter University. Women usually start working full-time jobs after graduating from higher education institution. They do that not because they want to climb corporate ladder, but because they have to earn their living. Russian women do not lay emphasis on your career as well. They will be happy if their husband does something after his heart, and won’t push him towards making career 24/ 7 to gain some high post which is out of his character. On the contrary, Russian wife will be happy that her husband is not completely indulged in making career and finds time to spend on something he really likes, or just stay with the family.
Russian women seeking American men are very serious about marriage. They won’t waste time on flirt and short-term relationship as they can get enough of that stuff in Russia. What they really want is a stable and mature man who will make them feel comfortable and secure. Russian women are used to everyday struggle for surviving but sometimes it runs their feet off. Russian women want to set up their family and give birth to children in some better conditions; they want to be sure in their kids’ future. Innate human striving to be happy makes them look for husbands abroad and we should respect them for their courage.
